Hello! For this edition’s art section, I wanted to create a piece inspired by this winter season, and had the idea to draw a bird in the snow. I chose one of my favorites, the harpy eagle, since I figured that its white color would work well with the snowfall background. Originally, I was planning to draw this piece on paper with my colored pencils, but I had the idea to test my abilities by creating this entirely on Microsoft Paint, a software that I hadn’t used before. Overall, I’m proud of how it turned out, and I think I did a good job of incorporating my colors, considering that it’s often difficult to bring depth to white subjects. I hope you all enjoyed seeing this as much as I enjoyed creating it!
